About Us

Silent Guards is a privately owned start up company founded in 2007 and run by individuals located on three continents who have been involved in investigating and combating internet fraud since 2003. It is the outgrowth of a partnership that began among friends and colleagues. We have professional and educational backgrounds in IT, law enforcement, finance, engineering, business, law and the arts. Our strength and expertise comes from our diverse backgrounds and our sincere dedication to fighting internet fraud.

We investigate, prevent and remove a wide variety of threats for our customers on both permanent and temporary assignments. Our initial experience was in combating Nigeria based advance fee fraud (also known as 419 fraud). Since that time we have expanded our scope to include a wide range of internet fraud. We provide brand protection, investigative services, training and education and consultation on best practices.

With the assistance of hosting and registration companies, government authorities and public benefit security organizations, we have become efficient in shutting down fraudulent websites, determining the source of frauds and stopping them at this source. We have developed proprietary software to assist with this but our core competency is based on human intelligence solutions to security threats.
